RETAIL BRANCH FINANCIAL COUNSELOR
State Bank of Countryside is seeking an energetic, flexible, team player to join our Chicago Branch as a Retail Branch Financial Counselor. The Retail Branch Financial Counselor is responsible for Sales, Operations and Community Marketing. The Retail Branch Financial Counselor works as the primary customer service contact, and handles all teller and personal banking responsibilities. The Retail Branch Financial Counselor evaluates customer needs and advises the customer of the most beneficial products and services. In addition, the Retail Branch Financial Counselor helps find and nurture new customer relationships. The Retail Branch Financial Counselor ensures compliance with Bank policy and procedures with an emphasis on high touch, quality customer service.
Additional duties include performing all Personal Banker and Teller tasks. Help with daily branch operations while delivering high touch, quality customer service. Ensure compliance with Bank policy and government regulations. Assist customers with lien waivers and loan checks. Be proactive in gaining new business and is effective in maintaining current customer relationships. Project a pleasant, professional appearance with strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of Teller and Personal Banking experience
- Strong sales orientation
- Exhibit leadership skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel & Outlook
- Knowledge of Banker Insight and Teller Insight a plus
- Able to lift objects of 30 lbs., reaching and removing objects of 15 lbs. above height level and bending to the floor
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal motor vehicle for travel to other locations required
