EDUCATION SAVINGS ACCOUNT

The Education Savings Account (formerly known as the Education IRA) is a great way to save for a child's future education expenses. Funds can be deposited by any interested party to be used for education expenses, from kindergarten to college and all the way through graduate school. Interest earnings are tax free if the funds are used for certain educational expenses, until the child reaches age 30. With the increased contributions limits established with the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act (EGTRRA), this account may be the perfect way to go.
